Where do you like to sit on a plane and why?

i'm trying to decide where i want to sit on the plane to dallas - i can choose online 24 hours beforehand but am not sure where is best for comfort, quiet, service, view.

is there anyway of predicting where any babies might be so i can be as far away as possible from them?.

next to the window to look outside during take off and landing, then to sleep on whil in flight. and emergency exit row for leg room. im 6'2" so its nice to be able to stretch my legs out.

i think thats one of the only good things that came from being a very young jw. as a kid i was able to sit very still very quietly at docotrs offices and the like. i dont want my kid to be raised a jw but it would be nice for him to kearn how to sit still and quiet when going places like that, without having to puich him to much so he gets the disicpline to sit still.

If most men decided to wear a beard today, would the JW's follow?

the jw's will say that in jesus time, it was ok to have a beard because it was their custom back then, and today jw's should not have a beard because it's not our custom to have one today.. since the world is ever changing, it will continue changing, and beards might come back and be popular once more.. it's only a cheap excuse on their part, because they will never accept beards, even if every man wore one today..

i used to always get harped on because of my sideburns. i had them to the bottom of my ear and one day an elder told me i need to cut them because it looked bad. this wasnt the first time theyd told me to do it. i usually did but then would slowly grow them back. that time though i said no i wont. then i brought up two other brother, one was a reg pioneer the other was an MS. i pointed out that mine are just as long as thiers but mine only look longer because i buzzed my head and they had more hair so thiers looked shorter. needless to say after that i was removed from the sound board, and mic handler. then i was told that i needed to study the scriptures more and think about what i was doing to get my privledges back.

Yesterday - felt baby move for first time outside of megan

megan and yes even me both felt the baby move for the first time outside of her, so it was my first time.

its really amazing, and we have the second scan on the 20th which is when we find out the sex unless its legs are crossed again.. .

wait till later on in the pregnancy when you can actually see the baby move. i remeber seeing my boys hand looking like he was trying to push his way out of my wifes belly. its an awesome sight to see, and feel.

When is a person's "race" not going to be the topic of conversation?

i think this don imus scandal just goes to show that no matter how hard a person works or how much he or she succeed in life their "race" or ethnicity or "gender" is always going to be the determining factor.

instead of don imus congradulating the "girls basketball team" for all of their hard work, he has to insult them.

i am glad he got fired and i hope it sends a message to anybody else that wants to publicly insult a group.

well it not going to end as long as you have the news media to take a story and make it bigger then what it really is. all for ratings, and they dont care whose life or lives they ruin just to get it. just another reason i hate, no despize, the media more then i do orginized religion.

ANYTHING EXCITING EVER HAPPEN AT YOUR KINGDOM HALL?

did anything exciting or alarming ever happen at your hall?

i remember only funny incidents, like one brother getting up there with his zipper down.

(i knew alot of brothers after that felt no shame to actually check down there before going up on the podium!

well when i was a jw i was living in las vegas and we had some seldom worked territory in a town called alamo, and a few other small towns out that way. they were mostly mormon. these town are relatively close to area 51.

anyway there was this one really old brother from new orleans and he was definatly cajun because everyone at the hall had a very hard time understanding anything he would say. plus he was a bit loopy at times, and was i swear on the brink of haveing alsheimers disease. me and my friend wade were assigned to go in his car out to the town, and we get out there and we do a few doors and then we go to lunch. well were eating and hes hands us like $5 in quarters to play on the pool table in the little diner. we get playing and he comes up and says ill be right back.

we looked at each other funny, then we notic hes got a camera in his hands. we ask him where hes going to go, he says "to go find some aliens." we tried not to laugh but we did once he was gone. we didnt care becase we were to busy playing pool.

we got back to the group about 2hrs later then we were supposed to and my friends dad was like "what happened?" we said "brother (dont remeber his name) went to go look for aliens and left us at the diner!"
